Baerlocher India has announced the appointment of Kaustubh Chitale as its new Managing Director, effective April 7, 2025. He succeeds Jayen Modi, who retires after a transformative 14-year journey, during which he played a crucial role in positioning Baerlocher as a market leader in India’s PVC additives sector.
Reflecting on Modi’s legacy, Arne Schulle, Group CEO of Baerlocher, shared: “Jayen’s unwavering commitment and foresight have been instrumental in shaping Baerlocher India’s success story. Under his leadership, our production capacity grew from 14,000 MT to 100,000 MT, especially with the full operationalization of our Dewas 2 site. He also spearheaded the development of the Baerlocher Research & Innovation Centre, reinforcing our dedication to innovation. Jayen built a strong, competitive team and positioned us as a trusted industry leader in India. We are pleased he will continue to support us as a Baerlocher Global Consultant.”
Schulle also welcomed the new leadership, expressing confidence in Chitale’s appointment: “We warmly welcome Kaustubh, a Chemical Engineer with over 29 years of cross-industry experience.
