Juniper Green Energy has announced the appointment of Ankush Malik as its new Chief Executive Officer. Malik, who was previously serving as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and a member of the company’s Board, now steps into the CEO role with a mandate to drive the company’s long-term growth and strategic direction.
Bringing over 15 years of experience in the power sector, Malik has earned a reputation for leadership, strategic execution, and deep industry knowledge. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing all facets of the business — including operations, business development, project execution, construction, and regulatory affairs.
An alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Lucknow, Malik has held key leadership roles at Orange Renewable Power and also gained experience in the energy and finance sectors through his stints at ICICI Bank and Lanco Infratech.
Juniper Green Energy, a prominent independent renewable energy power producer in India, focuses on the development and operation of utility-scale solar, wind, and hybrid energy projects. The company currently operates over 1.1 GWp of installed capacity and continues to expand its footprint in the clean energy space.
