Amisha Jain has been appointed as the future Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Arvind Fashions Limited, with her tenure officially beginning on August 13th. She takes over from Shailesh Chaturvedi, who will remain available to ensure a smooth leadership transition.
Jain brings over 25 years of diverse, cross-industry experience, having held leadership roles across renowned global brands. Most recently, she served as Managing Director and Senior Vice President at Levi Strauss & Co., where she oversaw operations across South Asia, the Middle East, Africa (SAMEA), and non-EU markets. In a LinkedIn post, Jain expressed heartfelt gratitude for her time at Levi’s and reflected on the team’s collective accomplishments during her tenure.
Her career spans a wide range of global organizations and strategic roles. She began her journey at Motorola Inc. as Senior Manager, later consulting independently on Nike India’s market strategy. She also worked at McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager, advising C-suite leaders in retail, consumer goods, and technology on innovation and operational excellence.
Notably, her association with Nike included leading the company’s sales and distribution efforts in India as the National Head, covering all product verticals and retail formats. Jain is no stranger to Arvind Fashions either — she previously held leadership positions including COO and Executive Vice President at Arvind Sports Lifestyle, before becoming CEO of lingerie brand Zivame.
Known for her expertise in brand building and business transformation, Jain returns to Arvind Fashions at a pivotal moment, bringing with her a deep understanding of the fashion and retail landscape.
