Altimetrik, an AI-first data and digital engineering company, has announced the appointment of Gautam Samanta as its Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). With over three decades of experience in the technology industry, Gautam will lead the company’s global commercial and go-to-market strategy, driving growth and expanding client engagement across markets and industry verticals. He will report directly to Raj Sundaresan, Chief Executive Officer of Altimetrik.
This appointment comes at a defining time for Altimetrik, following the company’s recent announcement to acquire SLK Software, a global technology services firm specializing in AI, intelligent automation, and analytics solutions. The combined capabilities of both companies are expected to accelerate Altimetrik’s journey toward its goal of achieving $1 billion in annual revenue, enhancing its scale, reach, and depth across industries.

Gautam brings a proven track record in scaling global technology businesses by leveraging emerging technologies and domain expertise. Prior to joining Altimetrik, he served as President and Executive Director at Coforge, where he played a key role in transforming the company into one of the fastest-growing technology services firms over the past eight years. He built the Banking and Financial Services vertical into a US$500 million business and led several strategic growth initiatives. Before Coforge, Gautam held senior leadership roles at Infosys and Capgemini, driving business expansion and global scaling.

Gautam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta.
