IndusInd Bank, one of India’s leading private sector banks, has announced the appointment of Amitabh Kumar Singh as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective November 10, 2025.
In a regulatory filing to the NSE, the bank confirmed Singh’s joining as part of its senior management team. He succeeds Zubin Mody, who stepped down from the role in July after over two decades with the bank.
Singh brings more than 20 years of HR leadership experience spanning the banking, insurance, and technology sectors. Prior to this appointment, he served as CHRO at ICICI Home Finance, a part of the ICICI Group, where he held several leadership roles across ICICI Bank and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance. Earlier in his career, he was associated with Mphasis, Tata Interactive Systems, Atos, and Larsen & Toubro.
An alumnus of the Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi, Singh holds a postgraduate degree in Human Resources and a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi.
His appointment is part of a broader leadership realignment at IndusInd Bank. In recent months, the bank has strengthened its senior team with key hires, including Viral Damania as Chief Financial Officer, Pragati Gondhalekar as Head of Internal Audit, Pankaj Sharma as Head of Business Transformation, Anand Vardhan as General Counsel, and Sheran Mehra as Chief Marketing Officer.
These strategic appointments underscore the bank’s commitment to enhancing leadership capabilities and driving sustainable growth across its business verticals.
