Sigachi Industries Limited, a global manufacturer of pharmaceutical excipients and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), has announced the appointment of Atul Dhavle as its Chief People Officer (CPO).
In his new role, Dhavle will work closely with the Board and senior leadership to align the company’s human capital strategy with its long-term growth agenda. His mandate includes strengthening leadership capability, shaping organizational design, advancing talent and capability development, and reinforcing governance and people processes. He will also play a pivotal role in sustaining cultural alignment and organizational resilience as Sigachi continues to expand across businesses, geographies, and operating models.

Atul Dhavle brings nearly three decades of experience in strategic human capital leadership, with deep expertise in organization design, talent development, organizational capability building, and operational excellence. His career spans leading large-scale transformation initiatives across complex, multi-location environments, providing him with a strong foundation to build high-performance and scalable organizations.
Prior to joining Sigachi Industries, Dhavle served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Granules India Limited, where he led transformation initiatives across manufacturing sites, R&D, and corporate functions. His earlier leadership roles include tenures at Bharat Forge, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, DuPont Fibers, and Mahindra, among others.
He holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur, and a Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering from Nagpur University.
