Knauf India Appoints Pallavi Poddar as Chief Human Resources Officer

Knauf India has announced the appointment of Pallavi Poddar as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), marking a key addition to its leadership team as the company continues to grow its footprint in the Indian market.

In her new role, Pallavi Poddar will oversee the company’s human resources function, focusing on strengthening organisational effectiveness, evolving people practices and nurturing a performance-driven and collaborative work culture. Her role will be central to aligning HR strategies with the company’s broader business objectives.

With more than two decades of professional experience, Pallavi brings strong expertise in areas such as talent management, organisational development and HR transformation. She has worked across diverse industries and multinational environments, contributing to initiatives that support both business expansion and employee engagement.

Prior to joining Knauf India, she was associated with Fenesta Windows as Chief Human Resources Officer, where she led key people and talent initiatives. Over the course of her career, she has also held leadership roles at organisations including Ingersoll Rand, where she managed HR responsibilities for India, the Middle East and Africa, as well as Schneider Electric and Nestlé.

Pallavi is an alumna of the Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development and holds an MBA. She is recognised for her ability to drive business outcomes through people-focused strategies and leadership.

This appointment reflects Knauf India’s continued focus on building strong organisational capabilities and supporting its long-term growth ambitions, while delivering high-quality and sustainable solutions to the market.
