Manish Bhatia has joined Amcor as Managing Director (VP/GM – India), taking charge of the company’s India business in September 2026.
Manish brings over three decades of leadership experience across coatings, packaging, building materials and retail. His career spans business management, P&L, sales, marketing, innovation, commercial operations and organisational transformation.
Before joining Amcor, Manish spent nearly eight years with DIC India, where he served as Managing Director & CEO. He also served as Chairman of DIC Bangladesh and Board Member of DIC Fine Chemical. His association with DIC India continued from September 2021 to August 2026.
Earlier, Manish was with Hindware Limited, where he served as President – CEO (Building Products) & CEO (EVOK). In this role, he was responsible for the P&L of the Building Products business and the EVOK organised retail business, with responsibilities spanning sales, marketing, product and innovation, commercial, supply chain and HR.
Manish also spent over seven years with AkzoNobel, holding leadership positions across business, marketing, sales and innovation. As Business Director for the Middle East, South and South East Asia, he was responsible for the P&L of the Vehicle Refinish business across 25 countries. He previously served as Head of Marketing & Innovation for AkzoNobel Decorative in India and Nepal.
He began his career with ICI India in 2002, where he held roles including Marketing Manager – Auto Paints (After Market) and Regional Manager.
At Amcor, Manish will lead the company’s India business in his new role as Managing Director (VP/GM – India).
