Parthiv Neotia, Managing Director of Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture Limited, has taken over as President of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), following the conclusion of the Chamber’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Kolkata.
Neotia succeeds as President as the ICC continues its engagement with businesses and industry across India. The Chamber had commemorated its Centenary in 2025.
During the ICC Annual Session & AGM 2026, Neotia also welcomed Gautam Adani, Founder and Chairman of Adani Group, as the Chief Guest. In his keynote address, Adani said, “Our commitment to Bengal goes far beyond individual projects. Over the coming decade, our intent is to deploy over one lakh crore rupees across Bengal. This will span ports, logistics, power generation, power transmission and distribution, road bridges, ropeways, green cement as well as hyper scale data centres.”
Outlining his vision for the ICC during his Presidency, Neotia said, “As India stands at the intersection of rapid economic growth and historic youth dividend, my endeavour would be to strengthen manifold the Chamber’s role as the bridge for business, fostering trade, growth, and collaboration between Indian enterprises and global partners giving due importance to Sustainable Development Goals. The contribution of the young serves as an unmistakable catalyst for sustainable prosperity and inclusive growth that I endeavour to contribute to.”
Neotia holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College, USA, and an MBA from London Business School, UK. As Managing Director of Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture Limited, he leads strategic growth and operations across its network of multispecialty hospitals, diagnostic centres and fertility centres. He also spearheads initiatives within the Group’s hospitality business, spanning hotels, restaurants and quick-service dining.
Alongside Neotia’s appointment, Keshav Bhajanka, Executive Director of Century Ply, was elected Senior Vice President of ICC, while Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman and Managing Director of Vikram Solar Limited, was elected Vice President.
