Bringing Over a Decade of HR Leadership to the CEO Role
Usha International has announced the appointment of Madhav Mani as its new Chief Executive Officer. This marks a significant leadership transition, as Mani steps into the role after serving the company for over 16 years, most recently as President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
In his previous role, Mani was instrumental in shaping Usha’s organizational culture and long-term people strategy. His leadership spanned across critical areas including talent acquisition, leadership development, compensation, change management, and industrial relations. Under his guidance, Usha strengthened its internal capabilities and built robust succession pipelines aligned with its business objectives.
As CEO, Mani will lead the company into its next phase of growth and innovation. He brings with him a wealth of experience in human capital strategy and business transformation, gained from both within Usha and earlier stints at InterGlobe Technology Quotient, Reliance Industries, The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), and SMS Demag.
His academic background includes executive education from The Wharton School and a postgraduate degree from the Xavier Institute of Social Service.
With a proven track record of aligning people and performance to strategic goals, Madhav Mani is well-positioned to drive Usha International’s continued evolution as a forward-thinking consumer durables brand.
