London-based consumer technology company Nothing has appointed Hemant Kundavaram as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for its India operations.
With over two decades of experience in finance and accounting, Kundavaram brings strong expertise in fundraising, investor relations, IPO preparedness, and capital market operations. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving Nothing’s financial strategy in India—one of the company’s most critical and fast-growing markets.
A Chartered Accountant from the 2005 batch, Hemant completed his B.Com in 2002 from Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. His career spans leadership roles at Ford India, IBM, Thomson Reuters, and Rockwell Collins. In 2015, he transitioned to promoter-led startups and, most recently, served as CFO at PMI Electromobility.
This marks the second major leadership addition for Nothing India in recent months, following the appointment of Akis Evangelidis as India President. The move comes on the back of strong business momentum. Nothing reported 146% year-on-year growth in Q2 2025, maintaining its position as India’s fastest-growing smartphone brand for six consecutive quarters (Counterpoint Research, Q2 2025 Smartphone Shipment Tracker).
The appointment underscores the increasing importance of India in Nothing’s global growth strategy, reinforcing its commitment to building a strong leadership team in the region.
