Raymond Limited has appointed Deepal Shah as President – Strategy & Special Projects, effective July 31, 2026. In his new role, he will lead the company’s strategic planning, special projects, global IT transformation, and business development initiatives.
A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Shah brings more than two decades of leadership experience across business management, finance, and corporate strategy. He has completed advanced management programs at the Indian School of Business (ISB), Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), and the Kellogg School of Management.
Prior to joining Raymond, Shah served as Group Chief Financial Officer at Allcargo Logistics. During his career, he has also held leadership roles at DHL and ITC Group, where he gained extensive experience in finance transformation, global IT projects, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, and business development.
According to Raymond, Shah has successfully led CEO and CFO roles in India and internationally and has implemented key initiatives across finance, global networks, information technology, strategic planning, and business development. His experience in leading global IT transformation projects, managing large-scale acquisitions, and overseeing mergers and strategic alliances is expected to support the company’s long-term strategic objectives.
Shah’s appointment comes as Raymond continues to strengthen its leadership team following the restructuring of its business portfolio. His extensive experience in strategy, finance, and business transformation reinforces Raymond’s focus on strengthening strategic leadership as it advances its next phase of business transformation.
