Cyient Limited, a global Intelligent Engineering solutions company, has announced the appointment of K. A. Prabhakaran as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of its Digital, Electronics and Technology (DET) business.
Prabhakaran is a seasoned leader in the engineering and research & development (ER&D) sector, bringing over 30 years of experience to Cyient. Before joining the company, he served as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for the Process Solutions group at Honeywell, where he spearheaded technology innovation and customer-centric solutions on a global scale. Previously based in Houston, TX, he will now operate from Bengaluru, India.
With a strong background in digital transformation, product and process technology innovation and strategic partnerships with global research and academic institutions, Prabhakaran has successfully led large teams across multiple industries, including Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Life Sciences and Renewable Energy. His expertise in developing advanced technology solutions for major OEMs, particularly in avionics, aligns well with Cyient’s strategic focus areas.
In his new role, Prabhakaran will drive Cyient’s technological vision, focusing on developing cutting-edge, market-ready solutions that enhance the company’s competitiveness and industry relevance. He will play a key role in expanding Cyient’s technology footprint, fostering innovation and building future-ready capabilities.
