First Citizens India, a subsidiary of First Citizens BancShares, Inc., has appointed Satya Prakash Ranjan as its Country Head and Head of Technology. Based in Bengaluru, he will lead the India teams that support the strategic business priorities of First Citizens Bank, the primary U.S. banking subsidiary of First Citizens BancShares.
Satya brings over 25 years of experience in technology, analytics and consulting. Before joining First Citizens India, he was the Country Managing Director at Telstra, overseeing its Technology, Data, Networks and Shared Services capability centers in Bangalore, Pune and Hyderabad. He has also held leadership roles at Fidelity Investments, Citigroup and Accenture, driving technology transformations, digital modernization and large-scale program management.
He holds an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kolkata and a BTech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. He is known for his commitment to education and advocacy for underprivileged children’s academic growth.
