R Systems International Limited has appointed Vikas Basra as Chief AI Officer and designated him as Senior Management Personnel (SMP), effective October 26, 2026. The appointment is on a full-time employment basis and was disclosed by the company under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
Basra is a technology and AI leader with over 24 years of global experience across artificial intelligence, product engineering, digital transformation, application modernization, cloud, DevSecOps and enterprise automation.
His areas of expertise include AI and GenAI, Agentic AI, intelligent automation, and AI-accelerated software and product development. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya.
Prior to joining R Systems International, Basra served as CTO and Global Technology Leader – AI-Driven Product Engineering, Innovation, Data & AI at Ness Digital Engineering, where he led technology vision, architecture, innovation and AI-led transformation initiatives.
