MobiKwik has announced the appointment of Anis Pathan as its Chief Risk Officer
(CRO), reinforcing its leadership team as the company accelerates its evolution into a full-scale financial services platform.
The appointment, approved by the company’s Board of Directors, comes at a pivotal time as MobiKwik transitions from a digital wallet provider to a comprehensive fintech institution. In his new role, Anis will lead the Group’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, ensuring robust risk governance during a phase of rapid growth and expansion.
Anis brings over 14 years of extensive experience across India and the Middle East, with deep expertise in banking and microfinance. Prior to joining MobiKwik, he served as Head of Enterprise Risk Management at Oman Arab Bank, where he played a key role in strengthening risk frameworks.
He has also held leadership positions as Chief Risk Officer at Chaitanya India Fin Credit and NSDL Payments Bank, where he was instrumental in building enterprise-wide risk management systems from the ground up.
An engineer by training, Anis holds an MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of
Management Studies, Mumbai. He is also a certified professional with globally
recognized credentials, including Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR), underscoring his strong foundation in managing complex and evolving fintech risks.
