Poly Medicure Appoints Indranil Mukherjee as Chief Executive Officer – Asia Pacific and India Business

Poly Medicure Limited has appointed Indranil Mukherjee as Chief Executive Officer – Asia Pacific and India Business, effective June 1, 2026. He will also be part of the company’s Senior Management Personnel and report directly to the Managing Director.

Mukherjee brings more than three decades of leadership experience in the medical technology and healthcare sector, having held senior roles across critical care, infusion therapy, renal care, surgical instruments, vascular systems, wound care, and implantable devices. Throughout his career, he has led business transformation initiatives, market expansion strategies, mergers and acquisitions, organisational restructuring, and operational excellence programs across multiple international markets.

He began his career with B. Braun. During his tenure, he managed the company’s Hospital Care, Outpatient Market, and Vascular Systems businesses in India before moving to Germany as Global Sales Manager for Critical Care. He subsequently served in regional leadership roles covering Korea, Taiwan, and the Asia-Pacific region.

Mukherjee later became Managing Director of B. Braun India, where he led the business through a successful turnaround and sustained profitable growth across multiple product segments and manufacturing facilities, with a workforce of more than 2,000 employees.

Most recently, he served as Group Chief Executive Officer of Translumina Therapeutics, a global cardiovascular implant company with operations in India and Germany. In this role, he oversaw the company’s strategic growth initiatives and strengthened its position in the medical devices market.

His experience spans the full spectrum of medical devices, including medical consumables, infusion products, capital equipment, surgical instruments, implants, and renal care services. He has also built expertise in commercial leadership, business development, governance, and P&L management at the country, regional, and global levels.

Mukherjee holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from St. Xavier’s College, an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Barkatullah University, Bhopal, and has completed the Senior Management Program from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. He has also completed the Leading Business Transformation in Asia program at INSEAD.
