Ather Energy Limited has announced the appointment of Surabhi Loshali as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Senior Management Personnel, effective 5 January 2026. The appointment was approved by the company’s Board of Directors through a circular resolution, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, as disclosed in a regulatory filing.
With over 20 years of experience in human resources leadership, Loshali brings deep expertise across pharmaceuticals, life sciences, manufacturing, technology, and financial services. Prior to joining Ather Energy, she served as Group CHRO at Strides Pharma Science Limited, where she led people and culture initiatives across multiple geographies and supported large, diverse workforces.
In her new role, Loshali will be responsible for shaping and executing Ather Energy’s people strategy, with a focus on organisational design, leadership development, talent acquisition, and workforce readiness. Her appointment comes at a time when India’s electric vehicle ecosystem is witnessing rapid scale-up and competing for specialised talent across engineering, Manufacturing, and digital domains.
Loshali holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Management (Human Resources) from XLRI Jamshedpur and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Polymer Science and Chemical Technology from the Delhi College of Engineering. She has also received several industry recognitions, including the Top HR Icon Award 2025 from the World HRD Congress and Women Leader of the Year 2024 at the Women Empowerment Summit.
