Schneider Electric Appoints Niharika Mohan as CHRO – Greater India Zone

Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, has announced the appointment of Ms. Niharika Mohan as Chief Human Resources Officer for the Greater India Zone, effective January 1, 2026. She succeeds Mr. Binu Philip, who retires after more than a decade of distinguished service with the company.

In her new role, Niharika will lead the Human Resources function for the India Zone, driving the People and Culture strategy across Schneider Electric India and its group brand, Lauritz Knudsen.

“Niharika brings a deep understanding of Schneider Electric’s business and talent ecosystem, shaped by her experience across roles and markets”, said Mr. Deepak Sharma, MD & CEO, Zone President – Greater India, Schneider Electric. “As India continues to play an increasingly strategic role in the Group’s global growth, its leadership will be critical in strengthening organizational capability, leadership depth, and long-term resilience.”

With over two decades of global HR leadership experience, Niharika is recognized for driving business-focused people strategies, spearheading organizational transformation, and fostering cultural integration. Since joining Schneider Electric India in 2008, she has been instrumental in shaping the Rewards function and later served as HR Business Partner for the Commercial organization, championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to build a more inclusive workplace.

From 2020 to 2023, Niharika served as CHRO at Luminous Power Technologies, a Schneider Group brand, where she led cultural and talent transformation initiatives and ensured employee well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic. Most recently, based in Dubai, she headed Human Resources for Secure Power International, leading people strategy and transformation across multiple global regions, including India, East Asia, Japan, the Middle East, the Pacific, and South America.

Before joining Schneider Electric, Niharika held leadership roles at multinational organizations such as TCS and Aon Hewitt. She is widely regarded for her ability to build empowered teams and foster a culture of performance, inclusion, and innovation, consistently nurturing high-performing teams that deliver strong business outcomes.
