Adani Group Appoints Preeti Jain as Chief People Officer for Global Capability Centre

The Adani Group has appointed Preeti Jain as the Chief People Officer for its Global Capability Centre (Adani GCC). This appointment reflects the Group’s continued focus on building robust shared services and fostering leadership excellence across its businesses.

With over 25 years of experience in human resources, Jain brings deep expertise across the technology, telecom, and digital sectors. Her career has been marked by steady progression and impactful leadership roles at some of India’s most prominent organizations.

After completing her MBA in Human Resources in 1999, Jain began her professional journey in 2001 with HFCL, a telecom solutions provider. There, she built a strong foundation in core HR areas such as performance management, recruitment strategies, and organizational culture development — skills that have remained central to her leadership approach.

Over the years, she has held several influential roles, including Vice President – HR at Bharti Airtel, where she led HR operations for broadband, DTH, and network services. Notably, she played a pivotal role in Airtel’s “One Airtel” transformation initiative, aligning multiple business verticals under a unified performance-driven culture.

Jain has also served as Chief HR Officer at Droom Technology during its high-growth phase and led regional HR strategy at Huawei, focusing on talent mobility and capability building across international markets.

In her new role at Adani GCC, Jain will lead the overall HR strategy, design the organizational structure, and drive leadership development initiatives as the centre scales up to serve a broader portfolio of group companies. Her leadership is expected to be instrumental in shaping a future-ready, global workforce.

A firm believer in blending analytical thinking with a people-first mindset, Jain holds an MBA in Human Resources and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics — a combination that underpins her strategic and balanced approach to HR leadership.
