Cyient Limited, a global Intelligent Engineering solutions company, has announced the appointment of Kavita Kurup as its new Chief People Officer (CPO). Based at the company’s headquarters in Hyderabad, Kavita will lead Cyient’s global Human Resources function, overseeing talent strategy, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness across all geographies.
With a career spanning over 25 years, Kavita brings deep expertise in People Practices, Business Transformation, and Organizational Strategy. She has worked across a diverse range of industries, including Technology, BFSI, FMCG, Media, Not-for-Profit, and entrepreneurial ventures. Her leadership has consistently focused on reimagining talent ecosystems to drive enterprise agility, innovation, and business value.
Prior to joining Cyient, Kavita served at UST, where she played a key role in shaping the company’s global people charter across 30+ countries. Her work encompassed large-scale transformation initiatives involving DE&I, culture building, associate experience, and leadership development—underpinned by a bold, human-centered philosophy.
