Piramal Pharma Limited has announced the appointment of Sai Ramana Ponugoti as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for its India Consumer Healthcare (ICH) division, effective January 6, 2025. This appointment marks a significant step forward in strengthening the company’s leadership and strategic direction.
Ponugoti brings with him more than 20 years of rich leadership experience, predominantly from his tenure at Procter & Gamble (P&G). At P&G, he held senior positions across India, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, demonstrating a consistent ability to drive business growth and organizational excellence. Most recently, as Chief Sales Officer for P&G India, Ponugoti led transformative initiatives that significantly boosted profitability. His previous role as Country Manager for P&G Vietnam saw him navigate complex market conditions to achieve remarkable business outcomes.
Throughout his career, Ponugoti has been a strong advocate for customer-centricity and innovation, spearheading strategic transformations that delivered exceptional results. His leadership style focuses on fostering balanced growth and cultivating world-class organizations.
