GoKwik has announced the appointment of Vargab Bakshi as its new Chief Growth Officer, as the company accelerates efforts to expand globally and deepen its ecosystem capabilities.
In his new role, Bakshi will spearhead GoKwik’s comprehensive growth agenda, overseeing brand strategy, go-to-market initiatives, marketing, partnerships, international expansion, and product-led growth. He will also focus on scaling GoKwik’s suite of software solutions, including those listed on the Shopify App Store.
Bakshi brings a wealth of experience in building and scaling internet-first businesses. Most recently, he held senior leadership roles at Shopify and Wix, where he played a key role in expanding their footprint across emerging markets.
At Shopify, he was part of the founding team in India and was instrumental in shaping the company’s regional growth strategy. His contributions included launching the go-to-market strategy for India and other high-potential markets, building the APAC partner network, and positioning Shopify as a platform of choice for D2C founders and developers.
Prior to that, Bakshi served as Vice President and Country Head – India at Wix.com, leading initiatives across marketing, sales, partnerships, and product localization. He also strengthened the company’s developer ecosystem and improved adoption among digital agencies and non-technical users.
In addition to his corporate leadership, Bakshi is also the creator of GrowKwik, a content-led learning platform developed by GoKwik to support ecommerce entrepreneurs. The initiative has attracted a community of over 500,000 followers across Instagram and YouTube.
