IndusInd Bank Appoints Sheran Mehra as Chief Marketing Officer

IndusInd Bank has announced the appointment of Sheran Mehra as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In her new role, Mehra will spearhead the bank’s brand, marketing and digital engagement strategy, with a focus on strengthening its market presence and customer connect.

Mehra joins IndusInd Bank from Tata Digital, where she served as Chief Business Officer, leading loyalty growth initiatives for Indian Hotels on Tata Neu. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in achieving a threefold increase in loyalty contribution and gross merchandise value through direct digital channels.

Previously, Mehra was part of the founding team of Tata Neu and served as Chief Brand Officer, where she helped launch India’s first Super App during the IPL. She led brand identity, consumer experience design, and digital engagement, significantly boosting brand awareness, customer engagement, and platform adoption.

With over 25 years of experience, Mehra has held leadership roles across renowned organisations, including DBS Bank, Barclays, Mahindra Holidays, HSBC, and leading advertising agencies such as Ogilvy. Her expertise spans banking, travel, FMCG, and digital services, blending creative storytelling with data-driven marketing and customer insights.

Mehra’s appointment underscores IndusInd Bank’s strategic focus on strengthening its brand and digital engagement as it continues to evolve in a rapidly changing financial landscape.
