IIFL Home Loans has appointed Sumit Chadha as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO), further strengthening the company’s leadership team as it continues to advance its digital transformation and technology-led growth initiatives.
Chadha brings over two decades of experience across lending, housing finance, enterprise technology, and digital innovation. He joins the organisation with extensive expertise in technology modernisation, digital infrastructure, and enterprise systems within the financial services sector.
Prior to joining IIFL Home Loans, Chadha served as Chief Information Officer at India Mortgage Guarantee Corporation for nearly five years. During his tenure, he led several technology modernisation initiatives focused on infrastructure transformation, digital strategy, and operational technology enhancement.
Earlier, he spent more than nine years at PNB Housing Finance Limited, where he held senior leadership positions including Head of Information Technology and DGM – IT Business Applications. In these roles, he worked on enterprise technology integration, application modernisation, and strengthening digital process frameworks across the organisation.
Before that, Chadha was associated with Nucleus Software, where he managed the FinnOne Suite, a widely used lending technology platform in the banking and financial services sector. He also worked with ICICI Bank as Regional Credit Manager, gaining experience in banking operations and credit management.
Over the course of his career, Chadha has developed expertise across microservices architecture, IT security, digital lending infrastructure, and emerging technologies. In his new role, he will focus on expanding the company’s technology capabilities and supporting its long-term digital growth strategy.
