H.G. Infra Engineering Limited has appointed Janesh Kumar as Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), effective May 29, 2026, according to the company’s regulatory filing.
Kumar brings more than two decades of experience across Manufacturing, Infrastructure, FMCG, Fintech, Telecom, Pharma, Hospitality, and Smart Energy sectors. He has held senior HR leadership roles with organizations including RP Sanjiv Goenka Group, Airtel Payments Bank, Bharti Airtel, JSW Steel, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Abbott, and Genus Power.
Known for driving business-aligned people strategies, Kumar has led large-scale HR transformation initiatives covering organizational development, workforce planning, leadership development, talent management, HR digitization, compensation strategy, and culture transformation.
PBefore joining H.G. Infra Engineering, Kumar was associated with Genus Power Infrastructures, where he focused on strengthening the organization’s people-centric and future-ready culture. He is also recognized for integrating Gen-AI, HR technology, and design thinking into workforce strategies.
Earlier, at RP Sanjiv Goenka Group’s FMCG business, he led strategic HR initiatives across talent acquisition, total rewards, organizational development, and HR technology transformation. During his tenure at Airtel Payments Bank, he played a key role in building the HR function during the company’s formative growth phase.
Apart from his corporate leadership experience, Kumar is also recognized as a thought leader in the HR community and has contributed to discussions around leadership development, workplace culture, and analytics-driven HR practices.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from MD University, Rohtak, along with a PGDBM in HR & Law from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune. He is also a Certified Executive Coach with multiple certifications in culture transformation, leadership assessment, and rewards management.
