Yogesh Pant Joins Jobber as India Engineering Head

Yogesh Pant has joined Jobber as India Engineering Head, where he will be building the company’s engineering presence in Bengaluru.

Pant announced his appointment on LinkedIn, sharing his decision to join Jobber following his recent tenure at GoTo. He previously served as Vice President of Engineering and Senior Director of Engineering at GoTo.

“I’m excited to share that I’m joining Jobber as the India Engineering Head, where I’ll be building Jobber’s engineering presence in Bangalore.”

Pant said Jobber’s focus on customers, technology and culture resonated with him as he considered his next career move.

“I made this decision after a lot of careful consideration, and I’m genuinely very happy with it. Jobber is a company that powers the businesses that keep our communities running, helping them run and grow at every stage of their journey. What really resonates with me is their focus on customers, technology and culture.”

In his new role, Pant will be involved in building Jobber’s India engineering team. He said the hiring effort will initially focus on Staff and Principal engineers with experience in design, architecture and product development, including expertise in Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, React and AI.

“We’ll soon be building the India engineering team, starting with Staff/Principal engineers who are passionate about design, architecture and building great products, with strong experience in Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, React and AI.”

Pant brings more than 20 years of technology experience, with a career spanning engineering, product development, analytics and technology leadership roles.

Before joining Jobber, Pant was with GoTo, where he served as Vice President of Engineering from August 2024 to December 2025 and Senior Director of Engineering from February 2022 to August 2024.

Earlier in his career, he held engineering leadership roles at LogMeIn and Citrix, followed by positions at CoreObjects, Synerzip and Persistent Systems. He began his career as a Software Engineer at NIC Inc.

With his appointment, Pant will be focused on building Jobber’s engineering presence in India and establishing the company’s engineering team in Bengaluru.
