Matrix Pharmacorp has appointed Dr. Sanjay Chaturvedi as its Chief Executive Officer.
Dr. Chaturvedi joins the organization with over 30 years of experience spanning pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, specialty chemicals, and international business operations. In his new position, he will work towards enhancing the company’s growth strategy, scaling operations, driving innovation initiatives, and expanding Matrix Pharmacorp’s international footprint.
Before taking up this role, Dr. Chaturvedi served as the Chief Executive Officer of Apitoria Pharma Private Limited, where he was responsible for overseeing the company’s global API operations and business performance. He played an important role in operational scaling, business transformation, and strengthening the company’s international presence.
Earlier, he was associated with IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Limited as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer. During his tenure, he contributed to improving business operations and supporting the company’s strategic growth plans.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Chaturvedi has also held leadership positions with Praj Industries, Aurobindo Pharma, and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, where he handled responsibilities across business development, global commercial operations, marketing, API business, and industrial biotechnology.
His experience further includes research and leadership assignments with Dow Advanced Materials, Rohm and Haas, Brookhaven National Laboratory, Stony Brook University, and Indian Institute of Science.
With his background in APIs, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, research, and international commercialization, Matrix Pharmacorp aims to further strengthen its market position and accelerate its long-term growth plans under Dr. Chaturvedi’s leadership.
