Nokia Appoints Priya Narayanan as Client Chief Technology Officer for India

Nokia has appointed Priya Narayanan as Client Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for India, strengthening its customer technology leadership as communications service providers continue to accelerate network modernization and digital transformation initiatives.

In her new role, Narayanan will lead technical engagements with customer CXOs and drive cross-business solution strategies for a large communications service provider (CSP) in India. She will work closely with customers to align Nokia’s technology capabilities with their business and network transformation objectives.

Narayanan shared the news through a LinkedIn post, expressing gratitude to those who have supported her professional journey.

“My heart is full as I step into a new role in Nokia as Client Chief Technology Officer, for India.”

Reflecting on her career, she added:

“Here’s to everyone who has been a part of this journey, my mentors, managers, colleagues and friends – I owe this to all of you.”

She also highlighted the opportunities ahead for the telecom industry, saying:

“Our industry is at an interesting inflection point, I look forward to turning potentials into impact and make this journey worthwhile for our customers, partners and all stakeholders.”

Before taking up this role, Narayanan served as Principal Consultant at Nokia Bell Labs, where she worked on technology strategy, innovation, future network architecture, and network transformation initiatives for leading telecom operators.

With nearly two decades of experience in telecommunications, she has built expertise across technology strategy, network engineering, business consulting, network operations, and next-generation technologies including 5G, LTE, IoT, Edge Computing, and IP networks.
