Neo Wealth and Asset Management (Neo Group) has appointed Vikas Khattar as Co-Founder and Executive Vice Chairman – Investment Banking, marking its entry into the investment banking space. With over three decades of industry experience and more than 400 transactions to his credit, Vikas will spearhead the development of the Group’s investment banking franchise across equity capital markets, M&A advisory, and private equity fundraising.
Prior to joining Neo Group, Vikas was part of Ambit’s executive leadership committee, serving as Managing Director & Head of Equity Capital Markets and Financial Sponsors Coverage, while also co-heading Investment Banking. During his tenure, he played a significant role in leading capital markets and investment banking initiatives.
His extensive career includes senior leadership positions at Jefferies, HSBC, Morgan Stanley, Citigroup Global Markets, and DSP Merrill Lynch, where he led businesses across investment banking, commercial banking coverage, global capital markets, and equity capital markets. He began his professional journey as a Management Trainee at Asea Brown Boveri Limited. Vikas also served on the Board of the Association of Investment Bankers of India, including as Vice Chairman.
At Neo Group, he will bring together deep capital markets expertise, global institutional experience, and long-standing industry relationships to build an investment banking platform focused on enduring client partnerships and strategic value creation.
