Cohance Lifesciences has appointed Krishna Sai T as Chief Information Officer (CIO). Krishna brings over 30 years of leadership experience, including more than 25 years in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry. His expertise spans digital transformation, enterprise technology strategy, cybersecurity, technology governance, SAP and IT infrastructure.
Krishna joins Cohance Lifesciences after serving as Chief Information Officer at Matrix Pharma Corp, where he was responsible for IT integration initiatives, infrastructure development and technology solutions aligned with business growth. Prior to Matrix Pharma Corp, he held senior technology leadership roles at Biocon and Biocon Biologics.
At Biocon Biologics, Krishna served as Vice President – Global Head of IT Infra & SAP COE, leading the global SAP Center of Excellence and IT infrastructure. At Biocon, he served as Vice President – IT & BRM and earlier as Associate Vice President – IT & SAP, where he led global IT solutions, SAP initiatives and IT integration with acquired companies.
Earlier in his career, Krishna spent over seven years with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, progressing through senior technology leadership positions, including Senior Director – IT & Global Head – SAP and Director IT & BPE. His responsibilities included global SAP programs, IT integrations, ERP implementation, technology service delivery and people management.
Krishna began his professional career with Dr. Reddy’s Group and subsequently held project management roles with SAP Global Delivery and Genpact, working on global SAP implementation, support, rollout and upgrade projects.
In his new role at Cohance Lifesciences, Krishna will focus on shaping the company’s technology and digital transformation agenda, strengthening its technology ecosystem and supporting scalable growth and business agility. His profile highlights a focus on building secure and resilient technology capabilities, embedding cybersecurity into enterprise architecture, and driving SAP transformation to accelerate business value.
Krishna has also completed the Global CIO programme in Management Information Systems from the Indian School of Business in 2019 and the Senior Management Programme from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta during 2006–2007.
With his extensive experience across technology strategy, SAP, digital transformation and IT leadership within the pharmaceutical and life sciences ecosystem, Krishna Sai T’s appointment strengthens Cohance Lifesciences’ technology leadership as the company continues to advance its digital capabilities.
