Tredence has announced the appointment of Jitendra Chakravarthy Putcha as its Chief Operating Officer (COO), marking a significant addition to its executive leadership team as the company accelerates its global growth and transformation agenda.
Jitendra brings over 28 years of experience in scaling businesses and driving large-scale transformation across the technology, data and analytics landscape. In his new role, he will be responsible for strengthening Tredence’s global delivery, operational excellence and customer-centric innovation.
Prior to joining Tredence, Jitendra served as Chief Delivery Officer at Mastech Digital, where he was part of the executive leadership team driving strategy and transformation, with full P&L responsibility across talent and services business units. He played a key role in modernizing systems, enhancing operational efficiency and building strong partner ecosystems.
Earlier, he held senior leadership roles at LTIMindtree and Larsen & Toubro Infotech (LTI), where he served as Global Head of Data, Analytics and AI. During his tenure, he led one of the fastest-growing business units, driving enterprise-scale AI adoption, building data platforms and delivering consistent double-digit growth. He was also instrumental in expanding global delivery capabilities and scaling teams significantly.
Jitendra spent over 17 years at Cognizant, where he held multiple leadership roles, including Vice President – AI & Analytics and Hyderabad Center Head. He led large-scale global delivery operations, drove digital transformation initiatives, and actively contributed to ecosystem development through partnerships with academia, government and industry bodies.
An active voice in the data and AI ecosystem, Jitendra is a frequent speaker at industry forums such as NASSCOM and other leading platforms. He is known for his expertise in AI, data analytics, digital transformation and change management, along with a strong focus on building sustainable businesses and mentoring future leaders.
With his extensive leadership experience and deep domain expertise, Jitendra’s appointment is expected to further strengthen Tredence’s position as a global leader in data science and AI-driven solutions.
