Revent Group has appointed Ashwath Ram as its Group Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant step in the company’s ambition to strengthen its position in global manufacturing. With over 35 years of leadership experience, Ram is expected to drive the transformation of the DVI-owned entity into a world-class player in ferrous and aluminum castings, forgings and precision machining.
In his new role, Ram will focus on enhancing operational excellence, scaling manufacturing capabilities and positioning Revent Group as a competitive force in international markets. His appointment aligns with the broader vision of advancing India’s manufacturing ecosystem on a global stage.
Beyond his responsibilities at Revent Group, Ram is also an accomplished entrepreneur. He continues to lead Ashra Consultants Pvt. Ltd., a high-tech filtration company and is the founder of Tau-Power Electronics, a startup focused on advanced automotive sensing technologies.
Ram’s professional journey reflects deep expertise across the industrial and manufacturing sectors. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the Kelley School of Business. Over the years, he has held key roles at leading organizations such as Cummins Engine Company, Affinity Express and Chittle Apparel. His experience ranges from managing large-scale supply chains in the United States to leading major joint ventures like Tata Cummins in India, showcasing a well-rounded understanding of global industrial operations.
